We need your help to send our chlorine generators to
the disaster relief team in India!
Dear Friend of WaterStep,
We at WaterStep are working to respond to the massive
flooding in India that killed more than 1,000 and left thousands
more people missing or stranded. We are assembling an incountry
team to install WaterStep's M-100 water purifiers in the
villages devastated by flooding and landslides. Our water
purifiers can supply clean, safe, drinkable water to thousands
daily. We need $30,000 to fund this emergency relief.
If you can, please consider a donation to support this
important work. A donation of $100, $50 or $10 can make a
WaterStep has worked in Northeast India for the last decade.
We have a network of contacts already trained in how to install
and maintain our unique water purification systems. WaterStep
was asked to respond to this disaster by the Indian
organization RLEK to work in conjunction with the organization HPSS of Oxfam India.
We are mobilizing a team of locals to work alongside our team
of experienced volunteers to install and maintain five new
chlorine generators in one of the regions most affected by the
flooding, Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand.
